Kelly has brings 22yrs of business owner experience, this includes the past 16yrs in the technology sector. He has worked alongside whānau, marae, hapū and Iwi to achieve their goals and aspirations within the tech sector. He has developed and maintained many connections over the years and continues to work alongside māori organisations providing full-stack software development services.
Kelly is driven to assist māori and indigenous communities to ‘create and build’ their own indigenous ecosystem using edge technology, blockchain protocols, open-source hardware and software backed by a decentralised distributed network infrastructure in Aotearoa. He believes that in order for māori and indigenous peoples to achieve sovereignty over their digital lives, we must transition ourselves away from the current centralised systems.
